midori and libpeas

Post by bsd4me »

Before midori could be upgraded, I had to install libpeas.
Once installed, midori upgraded without problem :)

libpeas is a dependency for midori.

Code: Select all

sudo spi --show midori

Yes, I read that on Ponce's repository.
I don't know if it was just my system, but evidently libpeas wasn't installed when midori was installed when I installed slackel. For me, that's why it crashed every time it was started :)
For my system, all well now.
Thank you. I'm really enjoying this system.

midori-0.5.11 did not had libpeas as a dep. It was an old package and when i login to salix forum it was crashed. There was no new version and i was ready to remove it from slackel repos. Now there is new midori-9.0 which is stable.
