There is a problem with slackware.uk mirror (https://slackware.uk/slackel/)
Use the sourceforge mirror
https://slackel.sourceforge.io/repo/
https://sourceforge.net/projects/slackel/files/repo/

Just edit the /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc file
and comment the lines

and uncomment the lines
