Booting Hangs

I installed Slackel64-7.0-openbox on hard drive.
Then I made an upgrade, however, not of the excluded applications like glib*, kernel
and when I reboot now I get error:

/sbin/fsck: /lib64/lib.so6: version "GLIBC_2.25" not found. Neded by /lib64/lib*

And the system hangs.

How to resolve?

I have an USB stick with slackel64-7.0-openbox.
Could that be used to get GLIBC_2.25 and then copy it to HD?

You can copy the packages but i do not know if all links will be created correctly.
Download somewhere glibc-2.26, packages from slackware64-current and install the excluded packages. Read this

Silly me. Yes it worked again.

However, in init 1 glibc-i18n and glibc-profile would not install.
Had to go to init 3.

Further lxpanel will not open.

lxpanel: error while loading shared libraries: libfm-gtk.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I prefer lxpanel over fbpanel.

Could that be fixed?

Then run lxpanel

Problem appeared because i recompiled pcmanfm and libfm with gtk3 and this broke lxpanel which i do not use and i did not understand it was not working.
There are libfm (gtk3) and libfm-gtk2 in repos now to work both, Pcmanfm and lxpanel.
